I’m not a big dieting person, I’ve actually never been on a diet now that I think about it… when ever I gain a little weight I just make healthier switches, but the past couple of weeks I got a little desperate and I tought about juicing…
Well I eat healthy but a lot for a person my size, so its safe to say I gave up after the first day, not because I don’t have de discipline, but because I don’t like the torture of feeling hungry all the time, LOL. But What I’m doing now is just waking up to a morning juice to get healthier, it also makes me feel fuller longer.
I just throw a bunch of veggies in there, LOL, I’m trying to get a lot more nutrients, since I’m not taking any supplements right now other than glucosamine for my joints. It’s all done in a juicer, If you’re just doing this to get more veggies into your diet it really doesn’t matter what goes in the juicer, LOL. Most days I just check the pantry and this is what goes in:
-Carrots.
-Beets.
-Celery.
-Pinaple.
-Orange.
But if you’re looking to lose a little weight there’s a lot of juice combinations to make you feel fuller, longer:
- pink grapefruit, peeled
- apple
- oranges, peeled
- bunch mint
- romaine lettuce or spinach
Want a great Detox juice?
- pineapple
- broccoli, cut into chunks
- large cucumber, sliced
- handful of spinach
- handful of mint
- lemon juice
or try:
-half a lime, peeled
-apples, celery, pineapple
-medium cucumber, peeled
-1 tsp spirulina
-Ice cubes
I truly don’t think you can go wrong with any veggies you trow in the juicer they will all help you improve your veggie intake, theses are just a couple of examples of great juices I’ve tried myself, but when ever I feel like switching up my smoothies or juices I always just give it a small internet browse and I always find great new combinations depending on what veggies I love.
